Lloyds Automatic Flow Cup Viscometer is used to automatically measure the flow times of almost all the available cups world-wide as per relevant international standards. It automatically determines the start and the end points of measurement, thus eliminating operator errors in time measurement.
The operation of the instrument is very similar to what the user have been using for a typical cup stand but is equipped with smart sensors for automatic measurements. Method to use:
Select the suitable cup as flow times
Ensure the cup and the test fluids are at the required temperature.
Ensure no bubbles or debris are in the test fluid.
Seal the cup orifice (with fingers) and fill with test fluid, level the top of the fluid with a scrapper.
Break-point procedure- remove finger from the orifice and simultaneously the timer starts automatically and at the first break in flow stops the timer.
The elapsed time represent the ‘flowtime’ of the test fluid.
